Animation Debut​

Here come the Spirit Rangers! In the Fall of 2020, Jaylan landed his first job post-grad, his first TV-show, and his first Netflix credit. Jaylan is thrilled to be making his animation debut starring in the new Netflix cartoon, Spirit Rangers. This project is particularly special, as it will go down in history, being the first Indigenous-made and told animation of its kind, including an all-Native writer's room. Created and lead by Karissa Valencia, she has assembled the Native Avengers - both on and off screen - to bring this National Park and its spirits to life. And, it's a musical! Grab your popcorn and celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day on October 10th, 2022 by tuning in to the global premiere of Spirit Rangers on Netflix, available for streaming in 180 countries. Jaylan voices several characters this season and is most excited to introduce you to Condor, the Great Almiyi, and Gem, a beaver obsessed with glistening gems. Jaylan would like to thank Karissa Valencia, Chris Nee, Joey Clift, Raye Zaragoza, Netflix Animation, Laughing Wild, Rene Haynes Casting, and the entire village assisting this vision come to fruition.
