Jaylan was invited to the NY Premiere of WE WERE LIARS, a new young-adult drama coming soon to Prime Video. An excuse to catch up with a childhood friend and an opportunity to pop up at the TFF, Jaylan had a great time celebrating the work of We Were Liars and all cast + crew involved. Let’s Do A 3-Peat

Ahead of its Season 2 release, MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS has been renewed for a 3rd season! Turns out, Jaylan’s intuition to stay home served him well. Jaylan is thrilled to be returning for a third consecutive season, and cannot wait to dive back into the life of Skylar Summerhill and the Silver Falls community. He thanks God for continuously blessing him.

Half A Year At Home

Following completion of production on Season 2 of MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS, Jaylan set foot down south to regroup, enjoy the Holiday season, and visit his hometown in North Carolina. Ultimately, weighing his home instability as a nomad, he decided to stay put for the time being. While Jaylan misses New York, he juggled the possibility of leaving again shortly after his return and decided his time would be best spent unencumbered and on stand-by. He has been home for half a year now, grounding himself, and fostering the inner-child that he states, ‘still lives inside’ of him. “In all of us.” He is grateful for the quality time with his family and understands how sacred it is, as he typically no longer resides in his hometown. “North Carolina will always have a piece of my heart,” says Jaylan.

Peabody Nomination

SPIRIT RANGERS has been nominated for a Peabody Award at the 85th Annual ceremony! Series creator and showrunner, Karissa Valencia, states: “In a time when our national parks and traditional homelands are facing so many challenges, I’m proud we made something that celebrates them and our original caretakers! So proud of our cast and crew. So proud of this show. So proud to be native. Thank you, Peabody Awards!” Jaylan could not have said it better and is so proud to be a part of the story of Xus Park and the beautiful spirits that it encompasses.
